Macquarie Grammar School (MGS) is the only private, co-educational, secular, and non-boarding high school in Sydney’s CBD. MGS is located near the iconic Sydney landmark, the Queen Victoria Building (QVB). It is within walking distance of renowned attractions such as the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Tower, Darling Harbour, Royal Botanic Garden, Australian Museum, New South Wales Art Gallery, and NSW Library, among others.
MGS offers High School Preparation (HSP) courses, Junior High School (Year 7-10) courses, Senior High School (Year 11-12) courses, and Short-term Study programs. The High School Preparation (HSP) program is a distinctive offering of MGS, specifically designed for international students whose native language is not English. Upon successful completion of HSP with a satisfactory English proficiency level, students can progress to mainstream high school courses.
